James Keating

Having started his career as an apprenticed carpenter in 1952, James Keating (Jim) quickly established a long list of satisfied followers. For over 18 years, he worked as a practicing tradesman by day and student by night,always seeking to expand his knowledge and expertise.

After founding James Keating Construction in 1957, Jim quickly gained a reputation for outstanding class, fine craftsmanship, and simple honesty and has since won numerous awards for quality and excellence. Along with sons Tom and Steve, Jim remains involved in all aspects of business.

Tom Keating

After completing his Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Guelph in 1996, Tom Keating proudly joined the family business, assuming the role of Project Manager, overseeing all major aspects of operation. Following his fathers ideology of fair pricing, quality craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service, Tom is now the chief estimator on all jobs.

In recent years Tom has been involved in several industry related associations including becoming the president of the Guelph and district homebuilders association and the Centre Wellington Contractors Association.

Steve Keating

After completing his Materials Management Degree in 1994, Steve Keating decided to explore opportunities outside of the family business, where he gathered valuable skills and practical experience as well as the realization that all roads lead to home. While assisting Tom with many aspects of the day to day operations, Steve is also involved in the sales department and heads the customer after sales service.

Danielle Shafer

As the primary sales coordinator and resident design expert, Danielle assists with all aspects of the purchase and design of your new home. Danielle's knowledge and understanding of home decor, and relaxed working atmosphere is simply another added bonus to an already spectacular home build experience.
